DesignSate

A new studio with
senior hands.

DesignSate exists for one reason: marketing teams and small agencies in the US shouldn't have to choose between $15K agency minimums and freelancer chaos. We're building the missing middle — a small senior design team on subscription or retainer, with 24-48 hour turnaround.

I started DesignSate after seeing the same problem from both sides: marketing teams burning quarters waiting on agency turnarounds, and small agencies losing margin to freelancer chaos. The fix is small and obvious — a senior design team on subscription or retainer, with US-hours account management and 48-hour turnaround as the floor.

I'm the one you'll talk to. I review every deliverable before it goes out. If something's wrong, you write to me directly — I reply within the hour during US business hours. That's the difference between a small studio and an agency where you never know who's actually doing the work.

The team.

We're a small team of designers based in Pakistan, working US business hours. Real headshots and bios go up alongside our first founding-client launches.

The DesignSate methodology.

1. We don't scope.

Traditional agencies start every project with a discovery phase, a Statement of Work, a timeline negotiation, and a kickoff call. That's 2–4 weeks of friction before anyone designs anything. We replace all of it with a single onboarding doc and a request board. You submit, we ship — your first deliverable is in your inbox within 48 hours of payment.

2. One queue, one priority.

Flex works because we don't context-switch. You stack requests in the queue; we work the top one until it's approved, then pull the next. This is why turnaround is consistent: there's no "the other client's emergency" that bumps you. On Embedded, dedicated designers run parallel queues for the same reason.

3. Founder reviews every output.

Before any deliverable lands in your inbox, it goes through a US-aware review pass — typography, microcopy, dated visual cues, accessibility. The number-one offshore-design failure mode is content that's technically correct but feels off to American buyers. Founder review catches it. This single step is the difference between "cheap design" and "design at a lower cost basis."

4. We tell you when we're wrong.

If you ask for something we can't ship at quality — heavy 3D, complex motion, full brand strategy with workshops — we say so on the discovery call and recommend who can. We'd rather lose a request than ship work we're not proud of. The entire offer falls apart if any deliverable is mediocre.

5. Nothing escapes the queue.

Every request gets a Trello card or Slack thread, every revision gets logged, every deliverable gets versioned. If you ever need to know what was shipped on what day for what brief, the whole history is in one place. This is the boring infrastructure that lets us scale from 5 clients to 50 without losing fidelity.

How we actually work.

Quality control before you see it

Every deliverable goes through a US-aware reviewer before it lands in your inbox. The number-one offshore-design failure mode is microcopy + dated visual trends. We catch it.

One queue, one active request

Flex works because we don't context-switch. You submit, we ship, you approve, we pull the next. No SOWs. No 4-week design sprints with nothing to show in week 2.

Founder-led account management

You're talking to me, not a CSM. If something's wrong, the person who can fix it is the person on the call.

Honest about scope

If you ask for something we can't ship at quality, we'll tell you and recommend who can. Better to lose a request than ship bad work with our name on it.
